Meme.

I don't really have anything else to say now, so I will just post a meme:

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book ( Read more... )

reviews., meme, comics, real life

Figures! You keep a man-eating kitty around for years, and the one time you really need him, he has moved to the country.

Eat rock band people yourself?

Apparently, a rock band has moved in upstairs from me.

Oh nooooooo. I don't know if you're much better off if they were underneath you. It's a bad situation all-around.

I've tended to find that I hear more from upstairs neighbors than downstairs ones! So, ew.

What color is your bedroom?
What is your favorite NYC restaurant?
What is your favorite NYC neighborhood?
What is your favorite NYC street?

Oh my goodness, thank you! I was reading that the other day and could not remember how I got there for the life of me.

I am not good at asking things of people.
What book did you most want to be in as a kid? [Or, heck, now.] Today in Prospect Park there was path beyond a cluster of trees that, I swear, would have lead me right into somewhere on par with the between-worlds from The Magician's Nephew had I followed it.

Dude, my parents' new house has a victorian-style street lamp ensconced in a cluster of trees that totally makes me feel like I'm in Narnia.

I don't really understand why people who know they're going to be making that much noise move into apartments above other people.

As much as I love drumming and music, I agree with you - it's completely stupid for someone to think that practising in an apartment is the best place to do so.

This reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Jerry doesn't want Elaine to move into the apartment above his, so he persuades the owner to up the price, only to end up having a musician move in and make lots and lots of noise. Heh. /random

As for the meme ... write about a fictional character that you wish was real, and why.

I'm a singer, and I'm always very self-conscious about singing in my apartment, especially in the morning or at night when I know other people might be trying to sleep.

And I TOTALLY remember that episode now!
