I'm saving this to read when I've got more 'quality' time (I *hate* that expression but sometimes it serves a purpose!) tomorrow but in the meantime I wanted to say I'm so pleased to see a new story from you and to thank you for it!
Thank you! I know exactly what you mean by needing the proper time (and time enough!) to read. I hope that is tomorrow for you, and that you enjoy the story!
Wow--see, after bottling the words up for so long, they just came pouring out. Really nice comparisons between all the addictions and what the characters understand about themselves.
Of course Doyle came out without protection. He doesn't need any with Bodie around.
Yeah, it was really nice that this idea just sprang into my head of its own accord. That happened...Friday evening in bed, actually, and then here we are--written and posted! Lovely.
Heh. We'll take what we can get in this weather, won't we? I'm glad it improved your day. It definitely did mine--the idea occurred to on Friday and then, voila!, written in a day and posted. Lovely.
I liked how you progressed through the other agents and Cowley before getting to Bodie.. It shows they all have wear and tear, the addiction to something bigger than themselves. I love that Ray comes out to get him, knowing he's there. They both need the other. Well done.
Thank you! Yeah, different addictions, just as they are all different themselves, but related. And Bodie's the one that can't be broken. *g* I'm so glad you enjoyed the story!
