Oh, that's lovely. The parallel structure really works here and adds so much to the final section.

I'm saving this to read when I've got more 'quality' time (I *hate* that expression but sometimes it serves a purpose!) tomorrow but in the meantime I wanted to say I'm so pleased to see a new story from you and to thank you for it!

Wow--see, after bottling the words up for so long, they just came pouring out. Really nice comparisons between all the addictions and what the characters understand about themselves.

Of course Doyle came out without protection. He doesn't need any with Bodie around.

I liked how you progressed through the other agents and Cowley before getting to Bodie.. It shows they all have wear and tear, the addiction to something bigger than themselves. I love that Ray comes out to get him, knowing he's there. They both need the other. Well done.
