Ooh, I like the way you've used pattern, light and expressions to set the scene here.

You've done such a good job of suggesting the scenario, that I'm looking for the story now. *g*

Thank you. It would be an interesting story - but I've got two in process - with deadlines - so this one would have to wait! *g*
i really lucked out when I found the patterned background for this - it worked out so well.

That is one of my favorite images of Doyle (and the Bodie that goes along with it!) In the episode they are having drinks and if I remember correctly laughing and smiling - no sadness in the scene. But their expressions say so much more!

I like this a lot. It makes me wonder if that's Doyle confessing or if it's older Doyle reflecting. Lots of possibilities. Good job.

Oh I like the reflecting idea. hmmm - maybe that story sw33n3y was talking about above just nabbed a plot bunny!

Glad you liked this - thanks!

So beautiful... I love Father Jacob as much as I love Doyle, despite Apparitions running for just a few episodes MS managed to create an entirely convincing character, passionate, a character with a lot of history and not at all black & white. The ideal character who listens and is not judgmental or prejudiced against other human beings, so the perfect choice for your artwork here.
And I love the image you've chosen of Doyle too.
Thank you ☺

Thank you! I've only seen one episode of Apparitions,so far, but I did really enjoy it - and as you said MS played the character very well. The portrayal being very real and very human and not at all the "perfect" man that a priest is supposed to be - if that makes sense!

Yes, that's exactly my take on the character of Father Jacob as well. He shows integrity and authority without being 'preachy'; and his humanity always shines through. I hope you get to watch the rest of the series. Some of the plot twists may have been a bit too far-fetched and 'theatrical' for my taste, but Martin's performance and his character was the main reason that kept me glued to the screen :)
