Ohhh, ouch! Well done. I love how you wrote this, with the mirroring of the weeping willow to how Doyle's looks and feels. Nice work which means you've ripped into my heart. :) Thanks.

I'm glad to hear you liked this. I wasn't sure it was going to work - thinking I might have overdone the angsty descriptions. Thanks!!

I love that picture so much, and I love how you've used it. I can't see any relationship between them ever being easy, and that's just what you've written so beautifully. Thank you!

It is a gorgeous picture. It inspired another story, not quite so angsty using the tree again - maybe I'll play with it a bit more.

Not easy - that is our lads! Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts!

I love this story that you've written but I so want bodie to go running after his Doyle ..never mind this relationship was never going to be easy xx

We will have to have drayce post another picture of the tree in springtime so I can write a sequel! *g* Exploring various versions of the lads relationship is challenging and fun. Glad you enjoyed this. Thanks!

Oh nicely written! The last line ties it all together and describes the give-and-take of their relationship perfectly. :D
