So, I have something awesome! moonlingmaid and I are in London, and we went to see Paul McGann, aka the actor who played (/plays, if you count Big Finish Audios) the Eighth Doctor in Doctor Who, in Butley. We met up with lolrassilon, and kind of ended up accidentally Stage Dooring? AND WE MET PAUL MCGANN. AND GOT HIS AUTOGRAPH. AND HE WAS REALLY NICE AND I TOLD HIM WE WERE FANS OF HIS FROM DOCTOR WHO AND HE SEEMED VAGUELY SURPRISED AND BASICALLY IT WAS AMAZING. YES. *FLAILS* ( autograph picture)

Unrelated, and I don't want to reopen fresh wounds, but, uh. Everyone seems to be referencing the X-Men kink meme wank? And I seem to have completely missed it, and I have LOOKED, but I cannot seem to find what happened, and I'm a little afraid to bring it up somewhere where it'll stir shit up again, so, uh, would someone mind terribly giving me the bullet points? /o\

Haha, that does sound awesome! I love him as Eight (and have listened to a load of the audio things) and that's amazing I AM SO JEALOUS.

As for the wank thing, basically, the fandom is divided over the mod of the X-Men kinkmeme. If you'd like to read some of the wank, it's all here, but basically the mod started kinkshaming and banning "underage prompts" (therefore removing a lot of the students from the equation) and people got very het up and a lot of other people got caught in the crossfire.

Basically it was awesome, and actually, I forgot about the hilarity afterwards: we met up with him after the matinee show, but the show we actually WENT TO was the evening one, so moonlingmaid, who is basically the biggest McGann fangirl in the history of EVER, spent the entire intervening time FREAKING OUT, and then when we got out of the show, she took a deep breath and went, "OKAY. I'm okay now. The fourth wall has been reestablished." LOLOL XDD
