I regret that I haven't taken the time to plan a proper celebration - with all the misfortune befalling the city, it does not seem like the time ( Read more... )

Well, yes. But now really isn't the time, so we'll have to hold off on a proper celebration.

So instead you'll hold it off until tomorrow.

Ah, if only it could be that soon. No, I'm afraid the festivities will have to be postponed until this Malice problem is under control.

I still hope not to be alone in welcoming the sun when it rises. The Summer Solstice is the most important day out of the year for my people. Perhaps the Discedo sun is not the one from which I have always drawn life and power, but it is still worthy of reverence and respect.

Count me in for meditation.

It'll be nice to see the sun, though. Gotta say...

Glad to have you, Harry.

Has it been a while?

Sorry it's been so crazy.

I'm not leaving the house unguarded when its like this, it wouldn't be right. But I'll keep the same watch and do the...special solstice meditation-thing from our own roof, okay?

...Careful with the fire, and Yorda's apple tree. Its her favorite.

Of course. Yorda's trees are safe with me.

And that is understandable. Take care. I'll be back in the afternoon.

I always thought that was such a neat idea for a ceremony!

I have always enjoyed watching and performing it. What a shame we'll be missing the festivities back home, but it is always an honor to share a little of one's culture to new people.

Oh yeah, that's totally a good thing about being here! I like learning about all the different holidays and stuff.

A party, you say?

And hey, I didn't know you had mediation parties, too.

Hahaha - I lead meditations in the morning, but calling them parties - I like the sound of that.

I think Nani is planning something where I have not, but I'd still like to conduct the ceremonial welcoming of the sun tomorrow during meditation. It should be a sight, if I'm not performing it myself.

Well, why not parties? And as a monk myself, I'm real fond of meditating. It's practically my hobby.

It sounds interestin', whatever it is. I'd like to see. An' if Miss Nani's plannin' some sort of food thing, I guess I'm involved, but if you need anything, too, let me know.
