i replied on dreamwidth, but under my login 'raingirl', not "openid". the comment is "screened". i don't know what that means - did i do something wrong? did you not like the comment? will only "openid" comments show up?

i hope that it's not that i offended you as that was not my intention at all, but i hope instead it's logistical.

Hi, I'm not sure why the comment is "screened"! I'll have to look at my settings. I mainly keep the DW account as a backup in case LJ goes down one day and don't look at it very much ( ... )

I like what you get out of her speech. I only kind of get that from what she says, I'm just confused by her manner of language. She's a lovely person (my friend creates books with her and so I briefly met her at a slide show of my friend's photographs at her house). I'm afraid I just have different writing tastes.

Thanks for sharing your take on this. I try to look closer at what I don't get and I figure it's people who like whatever it is that can help me do that. (Now there's a convoluted sentence!)
