I've always loved the subtextual "Fuck you!" in Lesley Gore's song, and the fact that it's so defiantly *joyful* has always been important to me.

There is a song by Phranc, and I can't for the life of me remember the name of the song, but she gets intense on her acoustic guitar and one of the lines is, "See that I'm a lesbian...don't lay your morality on me." Damn, that song would be on my feminist song list.
