Hee hee hee hee. *glomp*

Of course, it's too easy to be hated. I guess that's why it happens a lot. :/

Kids have flaws. For instance, they are stupid and sulky and naive. If you're at all worried about Eva being a Mary Sue, you can always try and emphasize that crap. I think everyone has a Mary Sue tbh (except me of course ;p ). I haven't noticed a problem though, but I am not recently versed in the character progress.

Villains. IMO, the best ones are damned monstrous bastards, or the kind of guys (or gals) you kind of see eye to eye with, but for instance have horribly ruthless methods for going about their goal, which might even be relatively good. Steamrollers.

I'm well aware that kids have flaws (remember, I despise kids); that's why I said that Eva is like "a child without the flaws of a child." Because she's not a child. She's an adult. She's also innocent because she's inexperienced, so she has some naivete, but naivete isn't much of a flaw. Especially since it will obviously be corrected with time. She isn't stupid and she isn't sulky because she has an adult's intelligence and maturity, and she's not a jaded dickbag because she has no reason to be.

You might be more versed in recent character progress if you had read a few more of my recent entries. *ahem* >_>

Hmm. Toda's kinda like a cross between those two types. He's a fairly monstrous bastard, but from his perspective there's a perfectly good reason for what he's doing. Mostly I just want him to have a personality of his own, to not just be some maniacal caricature going "MUAHAHAHAHAAA" and swishing his cape - er, lab coat.
