Looking for somewhere to live - upbeat version

I'm looking for a new place to live, probably a room in a shared house. I have a month's notice, from today, so should move by May 16th.

You lovely people can help by suggesting good places for me.

stay with us until you find somewhere if you like... sorry for not phoning... will do so tomorrow or Thurs if possible to see how you are. i still don't know what the "weirdness" is you allude to, but all i can say is that i very much relate to sudden weird and upsetting changes in people's behaviour, recently...
