Exoskull Zero, volume 01, chapters 01-07

Apparently, this manga is not a continuation of 'Kakugo no Susume', so this Hagakure Kakugo is an entirely different Kakugo, only his name is the same as the main character's of 'Kakugo no Susume'. Well, I haven't read 'Kakugo no Susume' and don't plan to.
Exoskull Zero, volume 1, chapters 1-7
The name of the main character Hagakure Kakugo is meaningful. Hagakure ('hidden by the leafs') probably refers to a famous practical and spiritual guide for samurai. Kakugo means 'determination', 'resolution'.
Tsukumo means '99', Takeru - 'ferocious'.
Also, considering how the rest of Exoskulls are named, I should probably mention that 'rei' ('zero') is a homophone for 'spirit'. Time will tell whether it's relevant or irrelevant. probably irrelevant tho
Ah yeah, about Exoskulls. I was debating if their names should be left in Japanese (in romaji, that is) or if it'd be better to translate them... But there's the fact that the name of Takeru's armor hints at its abilities, so... For those wondering what they are in Japanese: shinden, yuki, raiden, kiri, hyaku, zero/rei.
As far as I get, an Exoskull's ultimate attack is called 'excellent'. Well, since excellent is not a noun, it was changed to 'excellence'.
