Metaphors, analogies, or just really short-winded stories?

I'm a libertarian. Pretty die-hard, too. I read a lot, keep myself well-informed of current political happenings, economic moves, and the whatnot. Had I more money, I'd be investing. I definitely understand what you're saying. I find my beliefs are called into question all the fucking time, and it can be annoying when I just don't want to have to explain myself, especially to people who are dumber than me. I also find there's a marked difference between people who are genuinely trying to understand or challenge a contrasting point of view through legitimate political discourse, and people who are already convinced they're right, cannot be covinced otherwise, and insist on making you agree with them ( ... )
