The volcanic eruption had been the source of much unneeded stress in addition to what he was already dealing with. The consequences of his actions in the hangar still haunted him. Because of that, he was now alone and left to ponder the future he had seen.

It had been a while since he had gotten a good night's rest and that was starting to get to him as well. Though he would normally enjoy his coffee in the privacy of his own hut, he desired a change in scenery. He had been to the cafe several times before and found it's atmosphere pleasing. Hearing someone come inside, he didn't look up. There were too many people he would rather not see.

Gaze touching briefly on the blond, Ashura-ou let the door close behind him quietly before he made his way further inside. He headed for the counter, deciding perhaps that was where he was meant to decide what to order.

He settled on what seemed to be on special, though it was nothing he recognized from home. That in itself was slightly unsettling, having to accept he really wasn't where he belonged.

Ribbons glanced toward the figure at the counter. He considered leaving rather than enduring an unpleasant confrontation, but was surprised to find that he did not recognize him. So many people had left the island recently, he hadn't been expecting new arrivals. He turned fully to face him, his mood slightly improved.

"Good morning."

Hearing a voice call out, Ashura-ou turned in case the greeting was directed at him. As no one else, beyond the server, was there, he gave the blond a polite nod, expression neutral.

"Good morning."
