Who: Ribbons and whoever else is out wandering around When: during the Halloween party Where: outside, in the school/hangar area Rating: PG Warnings: probably none Summary: Ribbons is bored and trying not to cause trouble
Loran had been inside the party, beginning to enjoy himself when he caught a glance of Ribbons outside the building. Curiosity got the better of the boy and he wandered outside to where Ribbons stood.
Ribbons' gaze immediately shifted to Loran as he heard him coming. He was fairly certain Allelujah was in there somewhere and preferred not to run into him and his alternate personality. He relaxed once he saw who it was.
Loran seemed a bit stiff as he walked out further.
"Yes, but why aren't you inside too?" He wasn't sure if what this boy was wearing was a costume or not, so he didn't mention anything about it just yet.
Ribbons cast a glance towards the door, and then back at Loran.
"I wouldn't mind going in myself, but I think some of the people there wouldn't be very happy to see me," he sighed, thinking about just how much he should tell the boy and wondering if he could be of any use to him.
Figured this could be a basic point of First Contact. xDlyle_dylandy1November 5 2009, 12:01:58 UTC
Lyle stepped outside to get a breath of fresh air. Or as fresh a breath of air as one could get while lighting up a cigarette. He had left Anew inside talking to some of the others, planning on returning in a few minutes.
It was a nice night, all things considering, and as he looked around, he noticed someone nearby. He started to approach, then stopped, unsure if the other would welcome his presence.
Ribbons wasn't exactly pleased to see the Meister, but he made no move to leave. Lyle's hesitation suggested that he was not there to threaten him. He watched him, somewhat curious as to what he wanted.
Well, now that he had the other's attention, it would be rude to ignore him. Lyle approached more confidently, deciding that it would be for the better this way. He wasn't timid by nature, only reserved.
He nodded at the Innovator, not surprised at the lack of costume. Unfortunately, he was still dressed in his tavernkeeper's outfit. "Party not to your liking?"
Ribbons shrugged. "Not particularly," he responded. The reasons for that of course had more to do with the presence of Celestial Being than the party itself. He had started carrying a small knife with him in case things got out of hand with them, but would prefer to avoid a confrontation if he could. Lyle hadn't been a problem for him so far, so perhaps he wouldn't need to worry as long as he was careful.
