It showed up that there were a lot of people who had friended me that I hadn't noticed, and you were one of them. I remember you from the CRFH!!! boards, so I figured what the heck.

Attitudes like yours are what makes LJ such a sucky place, lately. Back in the good old days, people would take a chance on being open to new friendships without acting like foot-stamping prima donnas about it. "Comment here or I'll make a nasty angry public post making fun of you and berating you for not begging permission first!" Whatever, man.

I came across you at sheer random. Don't worry- I won't be adding you anytime soon. Adding people is supposed to make friends, not foes.

Well, I'm glad you live in a happy little land of rainbows and butterflies and everyone sings songs that remind me of vaguely hippieish crap.

Sorry that you can't wrap your mind around any potential scenario for why someone might have a post like this. And sorry you interpreted it that way.

PS: The real reason LJ sucks? Not because of posts like these. Drama powers the internets. No, my friend, it's because LJ got rid of codes. And allowed anyone and their sister to make 18 troll accounts each. (I have five, myself.) And then they harass people for something ridiculous, forcing people like our esteemed host here to have to retreat under a post like this.

So basically, good riddance. :-D
