WAITLISTED AFFILIATION
More of a waiting list really. This community is currently maxed out on community affiliations right now. If you would like to put yourself on the waiting list please submit an application. However, it may take more than a year to finally get you onto the affiliation list. If your community closes during your time on the waiting list, affiliation will not be given. Thanks for your patience and we will notify you once we have a spot open!
Sincerely,
TCG_Exchange
If you're looking for the affiliate list, you're at the wrong place. Go
here!
If you're here and are interested in affiliating with us, I assume you've already read our
introduction, where we explain the point of this community, and have checked out the
community rules. If you haven't, then please do so, it's important.
First things first, if you own a TCG and would like to affiliate with us, then please disregard the affiliation form and just comment saying you'd like to affiliate. Other TCGs do not benefit from the sponsoring bonuses other communities do, but at least they get pimped out even though they're all likely more famous than this one.
Now, if you are a moderator for another type of community and would like to affiliate, please read the guidelines below first.
- We don't accept affiliation from communities that do not require active member participation to run (NOT moderator participation, MEMBER participation - through voting or otherwise), communities that require applications to join (membership has to be open to anyone without an approval period), locked communities (membership must be open and posts must be public) and communities outside of LiveJournal. This includes but isn't limited to: personal communities of any kind, roleplay communities, discussion/ranting communities, media sharing communities and fan communities.
- We do accept affiliation from communities such as icontests (of any kind, including regular, LIMS, battle, etc), stamping/rating communities, other contest-type communities... there may be more but they haven't come to mind; if you're unsure whether your community would fit in, you're welcome to ask.
- On affiliation, you are responsible for ensuring that all the mods in your community are in agreement to affiliate. Not all of them have to help out, but we'll need at least one mod from the affiliate community to monitor member contributions and report to us so we can hand out the prizes. We will request confirmation ourselves where necessary, so don't worry about that.
- Failure to report member contributions will get your community removed from the affiliates list. It's very important to us that someone notifies us which members have contributed at the end of a week, especially for things such as screened comments and submissions with concealed identities. It's extremely unfair to the members if they help out, and you don't report that back to us. If none of the moderators report back within one week of a request, we will request again. If again no one reports back within two weeks, your affiliation will be revoked.
- We have members who have shared IP addresses due to college or live in the same household. This may conflict with your community if it has a "one participant per IP address" rule. The members that this applies to have been instructed that if a moderator questions their participation to tell them the exact truth about their shared IP addresses and are instructed to vote unbiased as precaution. Any conflicts you may have with this after your affiliation is complete should be mentioned here. We would like to keep the game as fair as possible and are willing to find common ground on the topic so that both members may participate without conflict.
- Your community needs to be active, and at least one month old. If your community shows no sign of activity for over a month, it will be removed from the affiliates list.
- It is the responsibility of the affiliated communities to determine what will earn the members prizes; however, it's the responsibility of tcg_exchange to determine what the winnings will be. Of course, we will try to reach a consensus, but that's how it goes.
- Winnings will never exceed seven random cards or three choice cards at any given time, and will naturally never be less than one random card.
- Once accepted, you must make a post in your community stating that you've affiliated with tcg_exchange, giving a brief intro of what it is about, and stating what the prizes for participation in your community are. Be sure to link back to us! In turn, we will add you to the affiliates list, and make the prize claim post for your community. :3
If you've read all of the above and it still sounds interesting, please fill out the form below:
Community: (the name of the community)
Moderators: (the names of the moderators for the community - note that you have to be a moderator yourself!)
Explanation: (explain what your community is and how it works please.)
Community Status: (is your community active? when was it created?)
Why Affiliate?: (explain why you want to affiliate?)
Exchanges: (explain what kind of thing people would do that could earn them cards! If you don't let us know what you want, people won't know what to do.)
Other: (anything else not covered above?)
This form is for CHANGES to an already established affiliation:
Community: (the name of the community)
Community Status: (is your community active? when was it created?)
Changes: (what changes do you want to be made to the affiliation? why?)
Other: (anything else not covered above?)
Note!: We are no longer looking to give out choice cards or certificates as prizes. So unless you have a very very good reason why you think we should give choices as rewards for your community, the rewards will be in random cards. :3 Sorry for the trouble, but many more choice cards would hurt gameplay at this point. ♥
Comments are SCREENED and will never ever be cleared out ever. If you delete your affiliation form, you will be REMOVED from the affiliates list!
