01. Why do so many con-goers mistake Japanese fashion (e.g lolita, shionuri, etc.) for cosplays?
a) Because many cosplays are based of animanga/videogames, so they can't tell the difference.
b) At a convention, you get used to assuming everyone is in cosplay, even if they're wearing normal street-wear/everyday clothes.
c) There is such a vast number of anime and manga that a lot of people naturally assume a costume/outfit is from a series they're unfamiliar with.
02. Why when attending a convention, can't we do-all-the-things?
a) Because those costumes we wear, don't actually give us super powers.
b) Time is a vicious mistress that are forced to adhere to.
c) There aren't enough hours in the day for everthing they cram into the conventions.
03. Why are vets so expensive?
a) Veterinary visits are just as important to most people as doctor visits for themselves, and the vet profession knows this and can take advantage of it.
b) The animal doctors relied on to keep our pets alive and well have to make nearly as much as teh doctors taking care of us since we're all family.
c) The law of supply and demand.
04. Why do children try to talk to animals?
a) All animal owners talk to their animals, children just have the sense of imagination to expect a conversation.
b) Wild imaginations: plus, talking animals in movies/books enable this too.
c) Sometimes they might talk back.
05. Why is it easier to finish project once you're "on a roll" than when they need to be done?
a) Momentum is your friend in this case.
b) Adrenaline rush is a powerful motivator.
c) The brain works best when its established genuine focus.
06. Why do some people gossip so much/talk behind others backs?
a) Unhappiness in their own lives causes some people to focus entirely on other peoples' business.
b) Some people have no respect.
c) There's nothing good on TV.
07. Why do we keep clothes that no longer fit/suit us for so long?
a) We secretly hope we might be able to fit into that old favorite again somewhere down the road.
b) One part nostalgia, one part laziness.
c) Everyone has a little bit of hoarder in them, likely because of sentimental reasons.
08. Why do we sometimes feel guilty for buying 'frivolous' things, even though we're using our own savings/money?
a) The brain, not the heart, controls the wallet.
b) We are taught to be smart, sometimes at the risk of never having any fun, with our money. It's an idea that's been drilled into our brains.
c) There are so many other more practical and useful things we need to spend money on, it's hard to spend it on something that isn't "necessary."
09. Why do some old cartoons make such a strong come-back?
a) Adult support of those cherished cartoons can drum up a lot of success.
b) Somtimes it's fun for adults to see what they grew up with and show it to their kids.
c) Cause adults never truly grow-up XD
10. Why do we want more than we need?
a) We're all secretly hoarders inside.
b) The grass is greener on the other side. Also, society teaches us to be covetous.
c) Possession has become a symbol of social status and everyone wants to be on the top rung.
