XD I was worried for a moment that you were eating real tutles .... Then again I will never pass for eating bizarre foods.... Which isn't really all that bizarre since I've had it before several times.... heh. oooo Lindtttttt derricious.

Lol, especially after visiting the predator aquarium in Vegas, I don't think I can ever eat turtles/sharks/sting rays/alligators. Whether people actually eat sting rays is questionable though...

How do turtles taste? Like chicken, possibly?

XD I used to work at the SF Zoo with turtles and 'gators.... It would become problematic if I couldn't eat the animals I had worked with (ex. sheep, cows, etc.). XDDDD

People say that it tastes like chicken, but when I had it, it was alot stronger than chicken. It had a similar taste to veal which in that it was quite strong and potent. It has it's own unique flavor though. Oh and I had it in soup so it probably tasted alot different than if you grilled it or something like that (I'm not sure if you can grill turtle or not).

LOL, okay I can see why it would be a bit of an issue if you shared the same reasoning as me ^^; Is the SF Zoo the largest one in America or the Chicago one (...or are they the same one...)?

Interesting...I've never tasted veal so I'm not sure how to imagine the taste, maybe just once I'll attempt a turtle and see how it is. I remember eating alligator meat long ago and was shocked at how it tasted like chicken. I suppose it's a common phrase now more than anything: odd meats tasting like chicken.

LOL. The SF zoo is in San Francisco, California and the Chicago one is in Chicago, Illinois.... almost 2,000 miles away... XD As for the largest zoo in America I believe that's the zoo in Columbus, Ohio or the Houston Zoo in Texas.... I think the Columbus one is the most famous zoo followed closely by San Diego and then by Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom.... >.<;; San Francisco doesn't even list on the best zoo list... or even the largest.

Veal tastes like beef except a little more.... tender and less "beefy". I think of it as beef-lite. Alligator is pretty much chicken flavored.... it's kind of like frog on the "wtf is this... this is not chicken, but it tastes like chicken" list. I can honestly tell you that I have tasted a few other odd things that definitely don't taste like chicken though.

SAN DIEGO IS the one I meant instead of the Chicago Zoo ^^; Clearly, research geography before partaking in such conversation otherwise be subject to embarrassment, eh.

LOL. San Diego is southern California and San Francisco is Northern California (something like 500 miles). lulz. geography... is not important. i slept through that in middle school.
