Today I got a much better idea of some of the things that it is possible to do with Perl's Regular Expressions and oh my Deity of Choice they are just blowing me away. I mean, I knew they were powerful, but I didn't quite appreciate just how much so. In fact, I'm pretty sure I still don't fully grasp the power that they embody. At this point I

They can do any string manipulation, but sometimes the time it takes to find the exact syntax is crazy.

I use them when I have to, but I always have to go back to the basics if it has been over a year since I last coded them, as sometimes they can be a bit tricky *nods*.

Now when they work correctly, it is a cool feeling :)
