Too many things to do

I've figured out at least one reason why my postings here have become severely curtailed: I have too much other stuff going on. I have so much other stuff going on that even when I have a few free minutes to work on some of the more optional free stuff, I can't decide what to spend those precious free moments on, and so I end up reading Hacker

As a curator of one or two of the Other Things, I'm glad to hear you're taking your needed downtime.

I have little to-do post-it notes all over the house. They are the 5-minute things that I ignore in favor of stupid games on my iPad. I try to remind myself that the 5-minute chores are going to turn into hour-long projects if they don't get done. Sometime it works; sometimes it doesn't.

Even those of us without gumption-thieving jobs can relate. :) Granted, toddlers are possibly the most proficient gumption-thieves in the guild, but I don't have anotherjob adding to the pile. I find myself spending my spare moments concentrating on....Facebook. Or reading Cracked. I still need to make your lovely spouse an LJ icon. Dammit!
