The Poet’s Year by J.W. Goethe
Taken from Masterpieces of The World’s Best Literature, Edited by Jeannette L. Gilder Volume 4, published in 1910 (Orsamus, Turner & Harris, New York). I have never found this essay by Goethe anywhere else and it remains one of his most important for me.

Next To Nothing
I bought Next to Nothing by Paul Bowles at a local bookshop back in 1992 and it has been beside me since then.
