Blaine bounced anxiously all over the house while he waited for Kurt to arrive. When he heard the knock, he practically took off running to open the door - being nervous just made him more hyper than anything else. "Hey, Kurt," he said as he reached the door, letting the other boy in. "Come on in."
Kurt lit up as soon as Blaine answered the door. "Thank you." He smiled brightly, looking around the house as he moved inside. "Your house is lovely, Blaine. Make sure you tell your mother."
Blaine smiled happily at Kurt. "Can I take that for you?" he asked, motioning to Kurt's jacket. "Thank you, I will. She makes an effort to redecorate every few years, it's one of her hobbies."
He was nervous, if he was being completely honest, but part of that was just excitement. He genuinely enjoyed spending time with Kurt and it'd been a while since she'd found someone like that.
Kurt slipped out of his overcoat and handed it off to Blaine, smiling and flushing a bit when he felt their skin brush together. "Thank you and it really is a lovely home, she has fine taste."
He smiled a little, watching Blaine curiously. "So what did you have planned for us tonight? You mentioned dinner..."
