Lauren couldn't believe it was only Wednesday--how the hell was the week going so slow? She made her way to the choir room after her last class, though she was sure there was no point in going; she did her assignment already and no one else really matter. But that wasn't true. Lauren enjoyed Glee most of time, and she liked seeing her friends.
She slumped into a chair on an end and listened to Miss Pillsbury address them. Obviously Schue wasn't back, not that it matter much. He was useless most of the time. Lauren noticed Miss Pillsbury struggle to find the right words and blush, which clashed with the natural redhead's hair. Lauren stifled a giggle, realizing right away the pseudo-music teacher was referring to Jeff and Sam's song from the last meeting.
Lauren glanced around, wondering who was going to sing today.
Mercedes hated Wednesdays. It meant that there were still two more days left of school. Of course, Wednesdays were considerably better than Mondays or Tuesdays, but still. She had to say that Fridays had to be the best day of the week. She couldn't blame Rebecca Black for making that horribly obnoxious song about Friday.
She entered the Glee club room, and settled into a chair next to Lauren. She remained silent during Miss Pillsbury's little speech, and then peered over toward the girl she had chosen to sit next to. "Hey, Lauren, how are you doing?"
"Hey 'Cedes." Lauren turned to face the girl. "I'm alright. It's been a long week, ya know? It's not even over yet. How are you?" She paused, wondering if she should ask the question here and now. "Is everything okay? I meant to ask you that the other day in Glee when you sang that song."
"Oh, I know! This has been the longest week ever. I have no idea why, either. Well, I have a partial idea, but none that really need the week to feel this long." She pouted slightly at this. And at Lauren's question, she arched an eyebrow. "Things are alrightish. Just a lot of arguments at home, between my parents." She shrugged slightly at this. "I think it's around the anniversary in which my brother died, and I think it's getting to them."
