Kurt answered the door that afternoon still in his pajamas. He hadn't been expecting company or planning on going anywhere. So, he didn't mind staying in his pajamas for one day. He tugged his robe a little tighter around his waist and pulled the door open, smiling when he saw his friend.

"'Cedes! What are you doing here?" He grinned, stepping back to let her in.

Mercedes beamed at Kurt when he answered the door. She was so glad to see him, she had truly missed him. "I missed you, so I decided to come over. I hope that's okay?" She looked at him hopefully, and stepped into the house when Kurt stepped back from the door. She leaned in to kiss him on the cheek.

"How have you been?"

"Really good." He smiled, kissing her temple gently. "How are you?" He asked, pressing the door closed and motioning her further inside. "I was just listening to some music and knitting, you're welcome to join me. Would you like something to drink?"

Mercedes grinned at her friend, and wrapped her arms around him to hug him tightly. "I've been doing well! Adjusting to life in the fifties." She nodded at this, and followed Kurt further into the house. "You can knit? What are you knitting? I've never learned how to knit. My grandmother knew how, but my mother never did. And I never took the time to learn from Nana when I had the chance."
