How often do you buy underwear?

I can't remember the last time I bought myself a pair of boxers. I just always get them for Christmas from my fam.

My strategy on underwear is to buy a bunch of it, throw away individual pieces when they get worn out, and buy new underwear whenever it becomes the controlling factor in how often I wash clothes.

Because of this, I'll typically go years between buying underwear.

Actually, I'm pretty picky about underwear, and there's one style that I'm currently OK with, and it's a bitch finding it in my size (2XL) in the stores. So, when I found it on Amazon I ordered 3 six-packs (which also got me free shipping from "NY lingerie") ... the only problem with this is that now I keep getting "clothing specials" e-mails from Amazon. Now that I have new undies, I just have to start paying attention when I find myself wearing a pair with "dead elastic" so I can make a point of actually throwing them out.
