Most of the computer centers in the US have similar (halon) fire suppression systems.

They usually don't tell employees why the have less than 60 seconds to exit the room before the system suffocates them. o_O

Don't they usually have oxygen masks around(a la T2)?

Every server room I've been in that had halon had oxygen as well. Pretty standard stuff.
