The firefly petunia was glowing mainly from the leaves and stems last night. I like when it does that :)

On your Indianapolis food list, the venue is only three miles from my households favorite pizza place up there (local also) called bazbeau’s pizza. It has been a while since we have been there but they use to do lunch slices versus whole pies. Our favorite is the Quattro. Five different cheeses plus bacon and mushroom. The garlic cheese bread is good also.

Awesome, thanks for the rec!
I'm lactose intolerant so while I "can" eat dairy, I gotta plan it a little carefully haha. I'll add them to the list and hopefully can make it over there on a one-show day!

Since you're way more of a plant expert than I am, do you have any recommendations for low-maintenance plants? Something I hopefully can't kill? I ended up giving away my philodendron because the leaves were burning. I didn't think it was getting too much sun, or it could have needed humidity.

Oh, I've killed succulents. Plural. Is there any hope for me?

Oh gosh, I'm really not an expert haha. Will help as much as I can though.

First would be a bunch of questions:

- I'm assuming we're looking for an indoor plant?
- Are there any specific features that you'd like in the plant, i.e. it flowers, it's a vine, it's spiky or soft, etc?
- What kind of climate would the plant be in, indoors? What room do you want it in, how much light and humidity can you give it, what's the ambient temp in the room it'll be in, etc ( ... )

Thanks for sharing this! I should look out for that in my petunia, actually, since it's potted and it's fertilizer is the water soluble kind so I have been fertilizing every time I water.

Haha, cute!

Agree with it, but also, with both my parents dead before 70 and me at 40 right now, capitalism aside I feel the clock ticking, and there is so much to see and do in the world!

(Which is why part time jobs and chores are kind of BS haha)

I love that plant - how amazing!

That would be awesome, I really hope it works out! It would be!

That hat really suits you - you really should treat yourself sometime.

It is a very special plant :)
I had cringed over the price when I bought it, thinking it would probably be some gimmick that wouldn't glow very much, that I was probably wasting money. But it's honestly amazing. Now it's been about two months since I got it, and it's doubled in size and glows all the time. A shame that it's an annual but in Florida they can sort-of be perennial, so I'll enjoy it for as long as it lasts and try to get cuttings.

Hey thanks! Along with the pale purple one that I wore last week, this one definitely received a lot of compliments. I've got a Kathy Jeanne straw hat on order which is similar but not a cloche, they are expensive but maybe one of these can be a second hat later on :)
