I don't know what you like,... but if you like WILDLY strange and abstract comedy anime... I love love love Excel Excel or also known as Excel Saga https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Excel_Saga

I like it because it is nothing like any story I've ever seen... but if you don't like triple-speed high-pitched exultations... you might not like it. It's hare-brained, silly, strange, confusing, and it isn't about making logical sense... it's about making ILLOGICAL sense!
The running gag is Excel is INCREDIBLY optimistic, tenacious,.. and stupid.. and she keeps dying, so the universe keeps showing up to reanimate her because she's the star, so the story can't go on with out her. It's very meta and silly and lots of fun and VERY weird!

You will need to watch it with English dub AND English subtitles, FYi. Trust me.

Will be interested to know if you stick with My Happy Marriage! I agree with you about the submissiveness being icky, but I try to tell myself, submissive people can find love, too!

Dudeman was probably RIGHT that I didn't pollinate them correctly. But A) there are more empathetic ways of telling someone that besides, "The weather had nothing to do with it, this was entirely because you did it wrong," and B) he never offered an explanation as to WHAT exactly I did wrong or how to do it RIGHT. So...not helpful, other than giving himself the pleasure of rubbing my face in my mistake.

Probably will revisit My Happy Marriage in a bit as I just finished Hazbin. Ended pretty well, though I'm not a fangirl for the series I did end up liking it after all, so thanks for the recommendation!

Not sure I'll get into Excel saga if it's hyper-high-energy-squealing-constantly or whatever as suggested. I don't find extroverts and hyper-stupidity very funny, I find it annoying and offputting. But appreciate that it's probably a good show with a lot of reasons to watch it :)

Thanks for the playlist! That helped me get an idea. It does look funny but yeah, the manic-ness is offputting.
