This is particularly goob becuase, unlike other personal statements, it actually looks like you *really* reflected* on the past year+ and came to some comclusions. There's a special preparation in really doing that, I suppose. The only tiny teeniny adjustment I might make is to refer to my mom as my mother. Its probably a stupid suggestions but might just add a slightly more elegant/formal tone. I don't know! :) R
Reflection has always come easier to me, its the actual filling things out, mailing transcripts, etc, that get me. And you're right; I get my working-class pride going so strong sometimes that I forget to write formally and stick to the way I talk. Thanks for the feedback.
