Eventful yom tov

So some of you may recall that, after last year, there was much cause for many friends to wish me an uneventful yom tov as we entered the last days of Pesach. Oy gevalt! I'm glad it was a good holiday for you, despite or perhaps because of the chaos. Best wishes and prayers to Ben.

Passover just ended about five minutes ago in this time zone, and I am going OUT TO EAT. YES.

I echo the oy gevalt. I send you a hug and am glad he is ok (is this the Ben that I sort of know?), and will be on his way to a recovery. That does sound very eventful, and at least the kids distracted you somewhat. Your family is good about being there for each other, and that's always a really good thing in a family. And it is nice to have cousins who feel so comfortable in your house. I came home on Monday and was pleasantly surprised to find my teenage cousin had unexpectedly been dropped off to hang out for a bit before going to her CPR class nearby, so my mom fed her and we got to hang out a bit.
I do hope everyone in your family continues to hold up well and do good healing.

Oy.. And no.. I wasn't there this time.

Oh.. and for those of you keeping score at home... I'm still at work. 12 hrs and counting. And no Pizza yet. Or a bagel. How'd I forget to get the bagel on the way out?!? (and yes, it's still only 915am.)
