I love this. Just LOVE it. I love the whole idea behind it, the idea of looking at it from all of their prespectives. And the slightly hopeful note that it ends on.

I'm really glad to know you love this enough to use capitals.

The original thought was just Dean POV, and then Carter and Jaimie stepped up and demanded their voices be heard too.

Dime appreciated the Jaimie POV because she finds her "outsider" take on the boys interesting (which I can understand because I'm fond of outsider POV too).

So I'm also glad to know that the multiple perspectives worked for you.

The slightly hopeful ending is partly thanks to dime. She told me the last sentence made a good ending point, and since we all know I fail endings forever most of the time, I wasn't about to mess with something that worked for her. Also, I am a big sloppy romantic so I want them to make it work.

this makes me smile sadly. It's just so melancholy, and beautiful. And the last lines for each POV are just hopeful enough that it makes it not quite so sad.

Your review makes me smile very happily that you thought I pulled off beautiful melancholy, so thank you very much.

This was basically me sticking my toes in the angst pool, which is a big step considering I've described myself as a crack-and-porn girl before.

And I like to think that at some point in the future, they do make it work--it's just not on-screen in NC-17 detail like I would normally write.
