Here we go again

Well, it's been over three months since I last posted, what a shocker. In that time we had Lockdown 2: Electric Boogaloo (November), and this week we started Lockdown 3: Return of the Virus.

How about just watching from property programs and gardeners world? Having some ideas stuffed down your eyes might give you more motivation.

We're definitely not lacking ideas! It's energy that's lacking. This lockdown I definitely feel more depleted than previously. We know what we're doing with the decorating (and have a zillion timber batons in the utility to prove it), it's just making the effort. On the plus side we should be getting some stuff for the allotment today, and Greg did make a start on the painting yesterday, so we'll get there, just... slowly.

I recall that when we moved into our house I looked around and proclaimed that it would take 6 months to do all the jobs that needed doing. 7½ years later I’m still at it and that’s before we get to the rooms that now need to be redone. If you’ve gotten as far as buying the wood (why so much?) then you’ve probably got me beat.
