Whee! Ickle-firstie Hermione is so cute. Though she's of course in for a grave disappointment, thinking everyone at Hogwarts is going to be as keen on learning as she is. That is sadly never true anywhere... not even in graduate school, I discovered.

Goodness, what's her guilty pleasure Muggle book anyhow?

Hermione might have been less disappointed had she been sorted into Ravenclaw as (I think) she expected.
