HOLY...
ok, i'm curious...HOW LONG have they been missing? Surely SOMEONE at the ARC would have noticed by now! Want more soon.

They've been missing about two months at this point. The ARC crew has probably noticed, but I guess they just can't find them. Frustrating isn't it. :-)

Increasingly frustrating. I keep hoping we'll see Becker bust down the door and threaten everyone with half an army and a REALLY BIG GUN until they get Connor and Abby back.... buuut I don't see that happening in the near future. Hopefully Connor's almost finished with whatever escape plan he's working on.

I hope it's not *too* frustrating. Thanks for reading. I really like suspense... can you tell?

I was fairly confident you were going in the direction you did. It was cathartic as a reader to have Connor let out all the weeks of anger and frustration ony Dayton. Next up, Connor's big plan, eh?

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I thought Connor needed a release, and who better than someone who was trying to hurt Abby.

Can I just say that I think this fic is brilliant...I'm really, really enjoying it and wasn't going to comment until the end but thought since you were in hospital that it might give you some encouragement. The characters are spot on and I love that they aren't just in and out of trouble all quick and neat. Maybe Hodges and Haines should give you a call, yeah?? See about getting some ideas for Series 4 & 5. Good job and I look foward to reading more. Thanks for sharing.

Awww. Thanks. I love your site BTW. You always manage to have so much information. LOVE IT! Thanks for the encouragement. I really did need it. I didn't do anything yesterday other than post chapter 8, but now I feel reenergized to start typing again. Thanks again.

Oh, Connor... *huggles him hard* He might have saved Abby, but I bet he's going to be having nightmares about that for a long time. He completely lost control, and when he finally comes down from the adrenaline rush it's going to hit him that he damn near beat a man to death, even if that man was an evil bastard who had threatened both him and Abby. Good on Tom for helping Connor, although I'm definitely thinking that Connor *really* needs to be careful of Canalla now.

Hope you're feeling better soon, btw. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with chapters as they're posted now, rather than having a an epic catch-up every few days (although it is rather nice to spend an evening reading several chapters and wallowing in the angst and hurt/comfort!)

He is walking a fine line isn't he.
I do *occasionally* (read extreme sarcasm) like to wallow in these stories as well. I read a lot of them before I put my pen to the paper. You get kinda lost in it all sometimes and I think that means that the author did a good job.
Back home now, so bring on the typing. Thanks for reading.
