One of my best friends, who is in the military and has been away on tour overseas is coming home for her two week leave. She called today to see if we could go on a road trip to north of Dallas to see Cirque du Soleil. I've never seen them in person, but love their stuff. I can't freaking wait. And you call yourself a Canadian. LOL!!!! Just Kidding. :-) I can't wait. I've never seen them before and my friend has seen them multiple times. Neither of us though have seen this particular show, so it will be new for both of us.

Dude! Do you have any idea how a) expensive tickets to them are and b) how bloody rare it is for them to come east of Montreal? *sulks*

That's really sweet, though! I've watched them on TV every now and then, and some people say that the TV shows are actually better, but still!

My friend has a ton of the DVD's and I love watching them. The cost of the tickets is very much part of why I've never seen them. That really is to bad about them not properly touring their own country. I'd be sulking too. :-( Sorry.

I'm super excited though, so thanks for being happy with me. :-)

Yeah, it just worked out that way. We've had to forego our Italy trip for now since she couldn't get the dates she wanted, but this works out well, and maybe this summer or some other holiday we'll jet off to Europe for a little exploring. :-)

I've seen Cirque du Soleli on the TV and it looks fantastic!! I'm sure you'll have an amazing time!
