Awesome dream!

Ah, the dilema! I had the coolest dream, and came up with the neatest idea for a science fiction book. But I can't write worth a darn...I have to convince Lee to write it for me and give up his programming time. Probably not going to happen.

*sigh* it would be a cool story!

So, are you going to reveal it, or is this Proprietary Information?

um...well...I'm still thinking of drafting up something first, before I spring it on the world. Lee really dug it, so I think I'm going to keep it to myself for just a bit longer.

Which means it was crappy of me to write a teaser about it :)

I think I will, once I flesh out my idea a bit more and really decide if I want to write a short story or something of that nature. Miss you!

But there's a couple of authors on your flist. What's the idea? Maybe one of them will write it for us? :p

It's funny, I like the idea so much, it seems a bit too public to write about the actual idea in such a public place as LJ...so maybe I'll talk to you about it in person? Hopefully soon, when i see you next. Or I'll decide it's not worth pursuing and I'll write about it here. Does this make me a tease? :)

Yes it does. But when was that a bad thing? ;p

BTW - I am sooooo not one to do any book writing. There's a couple other people I was thinking of.

Meanwhile, I think you would do an awesome job. Your LJ entries are wonderfully descriptive and you're very creative. Just make sure I get to read it in some form or another (off of Barnes & Noble's shelf perhaps?).

Just heard a book on tape titled: What should I do - by Po Bronson

In it he states that he always wanted to be a writer, but that his skills were more numbers and science. When he took some creative writing classes years later he pick subjects that were considered not suitable for creating writing as to why people did what they did.

So even though you might have some clues that might indicate that, don't take it for granted and truly give it a run before you jump to conclusions.
