Wow...I am priviledged to witness the first black American elected President of the United States. A bit like seeing the Berlin Wall come down, I had tears in my eyes. I think I would have had tears if a Republican black American had been elected as well...regardless of party affiliation, it's a great, great day for our country

I have been quit surpriced at the emotional outpour millions of people have had at this outcome.

While watching I told my children to remember this date as it is a moment in history.

Wishing him and the people he chooses the best as a hard series of tasks are ahead.
