So Dexter's been bored. Really bored. So bored that he's been thinking about the bucket test as seriously as he would any science experiment. He's even been practicing balancing a bucket on an ajar door -- what no one must ever know is that he drenched some perfectly good clothes in the process and just about drowned Roy, but that's irrelevant

Buffy, in contrast, could do with a little more boredom in her life, but that doesn't mean she isn't entirely up for some wacky pseudo-scientific shenanigans. Because she is.

"Hey Dexter! If I was any more up for that I'd maybe be in orbit. Where do you want to meet?"

He blows out a breath.

"Uhhhh, around Central? That way we can set up in any direction. If that's cool with you."

"Sounds like a plan." She nods approvingly, absently casting a glance around her room for appropriate footwear.

"Let's say outside the Sanctuary in about fifteen?"

[dexmcduff]

"Sounds good!" He picks up an out-of-shot bucket that indeed contains goggles. And gloves. And thinking of the fate his little green friend nearly suffered already, Dexter reaches over to put Roy back in his comfortable tropical tank home, away from threatening water sources.

"I'll see you soon." Grin.
