It had been a weird couple days. People had been helpful, but even they couldn't explain why she was there. It was a little after noon and Anna was hungry, having slept through breakfast. Finding her way, with the help of the map, to the Burnt Toast Diner, Anna had gotten herself a chicken sandwich, a baked potato, and a giant root beer

He wanted to talk to her. What he'd say was a separate matter, but... Castiel felt he had to.
Castiel walked into the diner Anna was in, at first just stopping inside the door, looking for that familiar head of red hair she'd become so accustomed to.

She took another bite of her chicken sandwich, chewing slowly. Whatever these hatches were, they made amazing food.

"Anna. Hello."

"Um. Hi?" She replied. This must be another one of the people she'd met here before. Dean had said something about her having been there for a while.

...Of course, she does have about five other weapons tucked away currently but those are hidden, and Brigitta is good at hiding weapons.
She hesitates for a moment at the door and then clears her throat and strolls over, trying to look completely non threatening (well, as close as she can get to non threatening anyway, the whole height and hair thing don't really help with that) and like a fairly normal person "Hello again!"

Chewing quickly, she swallowed then washed it down with a sip of her root beer. "Hi. Brigitta, right?"
Reply
...Yes, Brigitta has different standards for friends and random people.
"Yes" she grins slightly, before noticing the textbook and tilting her head with a faint frown "...What's that for?"

Glancing down at her textbook, her cheeks flushed. "Well, I figured even if I'm in this place, I shouldn't get behind in school. It's silly, your average student would treat this like spring break, but I'm supposed to graduate in the spring."
Anna ate a bit of her baked potato and washed it down with a sip of her root beer. "Besides, there's really not much else I can do here. No school, no job at the bookstore. It feels weird sleeping in."

Then she saw Anna's name. Anna the not-teapot, just around the corner, and blissfully unaware of the incident with the hatch besides. She was unnerving with her quiet, but it would be nice to say hello.
By the time River got to the door of the diner, she heard the whistles. There was steam on all the windows (not that anyone else could see it, but it was there) and she stood there for a confused second before smiling at her. Proud, like watching a baby speak for the first time, as if all she'd needed to do to be a teapot was concentrate.
"You're whistling."
Reply
"Um, was I? I'm sorry. I didn't realize."
She really must have been daydreaming if she hadn't even noticed her own whistling.

River tilted her head a little and listened to the whistling, turned her eyes to see how the steam was lighting on the window, condensing and dropping in all manner of lines with fat dollops of water leading their way down, down, down...
Then she frowned. "You don't remember."
Reply
Anna watched River look to the window, fascinated for a moment with something Anna couldn't see.
"Um, no. Apparently, I've got a big, heaping helping of amnesia or something. I'm sorry if we've met before and I don't remember you."
