Kobra is wandering through the streets, starring at the tablet and almost falling over his feet. He's trying to find out if there is another forest or lake in Taxon, somewhere to explore. He needs a distraction

[visual] Jet still hasn't quite got the hang of the tablet and the way it seems to just turn itself on, but he's glad it does when he catches sight of the Kobra Kid chasing...someone down the street and curling into a tiny ball of misery. "Yo. Hey. Hey. Double-K. You, uh...you alright? What's going on?"
Jet's voice breaks through Kobra's frazzled thoughts, but for a second he thinks it's just another hallucination. Maybe he's running a fever. Maybe he's dying. Now that would do everyone a fucking favour, including himself.
Glancing up he sees the red light flashing on the tablet though and groans, drops his head again. Fuck. Fuck the motherfucking hamsters who think it is funny to show this to everyone, have everyone witness just what a fucking wreckage he is. Kobra feels shame rising hot and heavy in his chest.
"Nuthing," he mutters without picking the tablet up. "Go away."
Jet rolls his eyes. "Listen princess, you know you can't feed me that hormonal teenager bullshit. Why don't you pick up that thing so I can see your shiny little mask proper, and tell me what the fuck has you all crankified." Jet loves the Kid like a brother, he really does, and no matter how hardened and cold he thinks he has become, Kobra alway seems to know how to push his protective buttons. Jet just hopes Party won't notice what's going on right away, because Party's tough love can be a lot tougher than Jet's.
Kobra pulls a face that every teenager would be jealous of, but shuffles over to grab the tablet. He's clearly not impressed with all of this, though.
He considers for a moment but then shakes his head. Jet is gonna think he's completely crazy if he tells him about seeing Grace. "'m fine. Just...got all a bit too much."
"Kobra? Kobra!" She asked the question in a normal tone at first, then shouted in an attempted to get his attention. He obviously didn't know that the tablet was recording him - an embarrassment that DG was all too familiar with - but it was even more obvious that he needed help.
Who had he seen? What had he seen?
"Kobra, it's DG. I need you to listen to me. Whatever you're seeing, it isn't real. It's just the city. It’s playing with you again.”
Kobra lets out a dry laugh at that, the sound still closer to a sob than anything else.
"This fuckin' city ain't doing nothing but playing with me," he points out, rakes a shaking hand through his hair again. He's always had difficulties keeping reality and fiction apart, especially when he was on pills, but Taxon? Taxon blurs the lines to the point where Kobra doesn't know where up or down is.
“It plays with all of us,” she said, hatred for their captors resonating in her voice. “Don’t let them get to you.”
Even as she said that, DG knew how ridiculous it sounded. Their captors knew exactly how to get under their skin and seemed to tailor their glitches to cause as much pain as possible. It was bound to hurt.

Looking up Kobra didn't even attempt to conceal the pain on his face. "I want to go home." he said, voice cracking and eyes glassy with tears.
