Kobra just sat and listened, legs crossed Indian style, in the sand, surrounded by candles. It had felt great to light as many as they wanted to just because they could, because candles were readily available in Taxon.
The ash on his face itched but Kobra only wrinkled his nose a little every now and then. He was unusually calm, not fidgeting or moving in any way like he usually did.
"Honour the dead," he echoed his brother in the end, eventually looking up. He was more homesick than ever, and even breathing hurt. "To everyone we miss."Kobra added, lighting the candle he'd placed in the sand right in front of him.
