In all honesty, Jenna is glad to be back home. Well, as close to home as Taxon can ever get. [Anita frowns as she gives Jenna a quick once-over, sitting on her bed at the hotel she'd been staying at before everyone had been dumped into the Sanctuary.]

Haven't slept well all month. It's nice to be in my own bed, but I was just getting used to that other one.

At least you have your own bed to get used to. I really miss my apartment. This hotel is alright, though.

Rose isn't going to go near Jenna right now after she almost killed her niece. She also knew that she had to speak to those she had hurt but Rose wasn't sure how to go about that just yet.

"I'm fine," she says finally, keeping her tone light and even. "How are you?"

Right now, Jenna doesn't know that was Rose. She's just a worried aunt, unsure of what to do here, how to live with all of this. She needs people to help, but has no idea how to ask for it or explain without betraying the secret.

"Tired," she answers truthfully. "I feel like I haven't slept well in months." She pauses to offer a very small smile to Rose. "What about you?"

The truth would out eventually and then Rose would have to try to explain the full circumstances, hoping that Jenna would find it in her heart to forgive the vampire. She knew that Jenna was a good person and had probably been through a lot in her life.

"Understandable. With the way the hamsters have been messing with everyone lately." Rose included. "I'm good, yeah. Tired, but still around and about, you know?"

Just give Jenna some time, Rose. She's still dealing with the brand new infobomb(s, since more of them keep getting dropped the longer she's here). A lot has happened to her, but since Stefan's here (and Damon, she supposes) to vouch for the "good vampire" clan, she may be willing to believe Rose is one as well. For now, she just assumes Rose is a concerned human friend.

"I don't know what they're trying to do to us, but I'm getting tired of being shuffled around all the time," Jenna huffs, raking a hand through her long hair. "It'd be nice if they could just leave us alone for a while."

Elena comes down from her room at around eleven PM, still in her pajamas. She's feeling a lot better than she has been, but is still resting a lot to recover from the attack. She starts looking for Jenna and finds her in the kitchen, giving her a tiny smile as she walks into the room.

"Hey," she says, giving her a hug as she comes close enough to.

As soon as Elena walks into the kitchen, Jenna takes on a smile, watching her niece for any signs of injury or exhaustion. As worried as she is about Elena, she doesn't want Elena worrying about her.

"Hey." She takes the hug gladly, returning it gently, warmly. Pulling back, she pats the chair next to her invitingly if Elena wants to hang out for a little bit.

"How are you feeling?"

Jenna offers a gentle smile in response, glad Elena looks and sounds better. At least one of them is feeling good at the moment.

"Glad to hear it," she answers easily. "At least one of us is feeling better." A pause as she lets her eyes take in her niece's condition again just to be sure. "You had me worried for a while."

But that's brushed off for the return. "I'm fine. Just haven't slept well since we got moved to the Sanctuary." Which is true. Mostly. She also misses Ric, wishes Stefan would stop whatever it is he's doing, and wants her world to right itself again, buuut... she's starting to believe that's all wishful thinking at this point.
