The first thing Jenna noticed was that she must have dozed off upstairs. She rubbed her tired eyes before opening them. The sight of a very unfamiliar, and definitely not something she'd ever thought possible, room made her blink and inhale sharply.

"Hi! Okay...you've been kidnapped by aliens along with a bunch of other folks, we haven't figured out how to escape yet, it was raining earlier but I think it's stopped, and apparently one of the guys here is fond of dresses. Wh-which is a perfectly valid sartorial choice, if you ask me."

Why has there been no petition to keep Glitch away from the newbies?

Jenna just blinked for a second and then looked around frantically for the sound of the voice. She decided to just... ignore whatever mess whoever this was had spouted at her if she could just place the voice.

"Who said that?"

"Me!" called the little voice from the tablet. Glitch waved, possibly a bit too cheerfully. "My name's Glitch, I-I'm a fellow...alien-kidnapped person. I'm talking to you through the thing on the thing, it's called a tablet. And and if you pick it up the door'll open and you'll be able to get out of the creepy room."

He didn't actually remember if the arrival room was creepy or not, but since most folks were weirded out by it the adjective seemed appropriate.

Jenna frowned, catching sight of something waving on a tiny little screen across the room. What was that? She hesitated before taking a couple of steps toward the thing, tucking a chunk of her long blonde hair behind an ear.

"If I pick this thing up, I can get out of the room?"

Yeah, that was about all she got out of Glitch's explanation. Alien-kidnapped... right.

"I'm Jenna. It's... nice to meet you, Glitch." ...What a name.

Rose didn't know who she was but the mere mention of Elena's name caught her interest. She clicks on her holo feed immediately.

"Do you mean Elena Gilbert?"

Not that Jenna has successfully figured out that the tablet thing opens the door, she's not quite as... frantic, but she's still on guard. She doesn't recognize this woman, but any information on Elena will help.

"Yes. She's my niece. Have you seen her around?"

Her niece? So she was speaking to one of Elena's family members. Rose better not let the cover story get blown so she became cautious with her words.

"Yes. Elena is here actually." Rose says, smiling a little. "She's perfectly safe, don't worry."

The relief Jenna feels is obvious as she runs a hand through her hair and takes a deep breath. "Good. Do you know if Jeremy's here, too?"

Because she really wanted to get back home and the faster she found Elena and Jeremy, the faster that could happen.

"And thanks, uh..." No idea of her name. "I'm Jenna."

[ by now, she's figured out how to cut the... visual transmission thing the tablet was doing. voice is a lot easier to manage. but she's so glad to hear from elena. ]

Yep. Managed that with the help of someone named Glitch. [ said with the tone that implies she thinks she's either dreaming or that guy was totally wasted. ]
