Godric sits on the cot that Eric was kind enough to set up for him, believing he's alone in the house, for now. "I hope you're hungry," he says, as he walks in the front door.

"Starving," he says lightly. He isn't actually. He's starved before -- not seriously or for long, but enough to count -- and this isn't it. But he is definitely hungry, and he's a teenage boy. So 'starving' about covers the speed at which he's about to devour that burger.

He tosses Godric one of the burgers and sits in the only chair in the room. "I didn't know what you liked, so I just got the basics." Not having seen each other outside of a military situation makes it difficult to find out these kinds of things. "There's milk in the fridge, or beer if you want it. Water. Maybe some orange juice, but I wouldn't count on it."
Eric starts eating his own hamburger, quietly for a while, until finally he asks, "What were you looking at when I came in?" So much for that being none of his business.

"Thanks. I'm good with anything, burgers are great." He pops the beer open and takes a long swig before digging into his food with relish. He pauses mid-bite when Eric asks about the picture. He chews to give himself a second before answering.
"Just a picture."
