"Well, I suppose that should have been expected, with the climate controls acting up." He comments offhandedly, then pauses to look around the lobby once his spectacles are back on.
"It's still very hard to believe that Angel took over this place. Became its CEO. When Lorne told me I was rather shocked, to be honest."

She busies herself shifting a package of food around, setting it flush with the others, and then she looks back. "Things were pretty messed up here, as you can imagine. They were good at keeping us busy fighting the small battles...but we did fight them, at least." She had hated most of it. The time she spent with Wesley near the end was a welcome respite, but she's not about to bring that up.

Wesley stoops to make a quick mental inventory of the supplies in order to ascertain what they are still missing.
"I can't imagine what set of circumstances led to Angel - and the rest of us for that matter - signing on. Whatever the reasons were, I presume they were compelling."

This coming from Illyria as she enters the place. Her eyes stray from the shell to Wesley; her lips thin and it's odd to see them together. She chooses to stay behind them, and merely watches.
