Frye Ranch, kitchen. Kaylee, for the normally cheerful person most folks are probably used to seeing, is looking a little less than 100%. Still smiling, sure, but there's a weariness there that doesn't normally stick around

Lorne's kind, concerned face appears on the tablet. "I can offer the basement of Caritas. Usually I use it to store booze, but I can clear it out for bunker space. Caritas is and always has been a sanctuary for all."
Lorne shrugs. "I'm clueless when it comes to that kind of thing, but I can tell you one thing for sure: I didn't build it to survive an apocalypse. The biggest thing Caritas has going for it is the anti-demon-violence spell. But you are absolutely welcome to come in and make any changes necessary, sweet pea."
And Kaylee has no idea what an anti-demon-violence spell is, let alone how big it might be. "Wouldn't hurt to at least take a look at it then. Who knows, might be stronger than you think." She certainly hopes so.
We can use Titans Tower to hold people. It's basically a giant, steel, T-shaped tower designed to withstand superpowered teenagers and the mischief they get into. Think it'll work?
Kon looks more serious than he usually does. "Like Supergirl said, we've got a tower, but I don't know how safe it is. It gets destroyed a lot. There's a basement that'll probably work, though, and I'm happy to help with the fixing places up part."
"Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. It's supposed to be safe from anything. It's definitely safer than a lot of things, and there are defenses and weapons and stuff." He shrugs a little. "I'm Superboy, by the way."
"Not so sure how well the weapons might do us, but as long as it's underground and safer'n bein' in a regular buildin' it's a better start than could've been asked for." There's a half smile on her part now--more options are coming up than she'd counted on. "And 'M Kaylee."
"The Northern Island is big enough," said DG thoughtfully. Even if she hadn't spotted Cordelia's broadcast, the sight of Kaylee - who was usually unfailing cheerful - looking so subdued would have made her pause. What else could the city throw at them? How much more could they take? "But I don't know how much reinforcement it'll need."
Although she'd offer up a prospective location, her services - both magical and mechanical - would probably be of more use.
More locations are better, and Kaylee's not going to turn something down right off if someone's not sure about it. DG's 'services' would probably be of more use than anything, though. "Don't hurt none to check it over and see. The more places we got to choose from when whatever's gonna hit hits, the better."
"You're welcome to come to the palace whenever you want," DG pointed out. She tended to assume that her friends - she didn't know Kaylee as well as she would have liked, but she still considered her a friend - realised that they had an open invitation, whether she'd issued it or not. "When d'you want to look around?"
"I'll keep that in mind if I'm ever lookin' for a tour of the place." Kaylee perks up a bit at hearing that, enough to laugh a little. "If you're free for it tomorrow mornin', that'd work out nicely."
[ it's actually surprising that someone in Taxon has the same power that phoebe's got. now's not the time to be missing the sister who isn't here though, no matter how much piper does. some things needed to be addressed first. ]
I... don't have space to offer, but maybe I can help in other ways?
Kaylee's glad for the honesty, and it shows on her face. "Basically? Just helpin' with movin' anything we might need into or from the bunkers. Manual labor, really, but the more folks we got helpin' out for it the smoother it'll go."
