Things like 'going outside' and 'actually seeing other people' were not really high on Harvestman's priority list. Granted, the first thing on that list right now was 'find the Doctor and punch him' and he wasn't really accomplishing that, but it still made the sight of him outside the Hyperion Hotel strange, especially in the daylight. Cordelia's standing behind the counter, thinking if she should start looking at their old files and rearrange them again - why yes, she is that bored. Still, she hasn't tried to step out of the hotel yet - a part of her was still afraid, after all.

The bruises on her face and body have faded a bit, and only the deeper, bigger cuts are covered with bandages now. She looks up when she hears someone knock - who could that be? People used to come in and out of the hotel without invitation, after all.

She walks to the door and, through the see-through panels, sees John standing outside. Cordelia smiles as she opens the door. "Hey," she greets him. "Nice get-up."

He's not the type that needs an invitation to come in - not that it would apply to a hotel - but waltzing right in was another matter. Not with her boyfriend and his looming superiority probably hanging around the corner.

He responds to her smile with a thinner, but nonetheless genuine one. "I burn easy."

"Mm-hmm. Sun's the non-frying kind, remember?" She points up as if to emphasize her point.

"Anyway. What brings you here?"

Harvestman shrugs. "Still hurts my eyes." The dark tint of the sunglasses and the way he's shaded the area they miss on top indicate that it was more than a little sting.

"Wanted to drop by, see how you were doing." He tilted his head slightly, as if trying to gauge her health (in reality, he is checking out her chest. Sunglasses have so many advantages). "Wanted to show you something, if you want me to come in."
