Some vampires cling to old ways. They resist change, grow stagnant and out of pace with the world around them. They don't adapt or evolve. Eric is not one of that sort. For reasons of pride and general trollishness, Hermes just can't bring himself to knock and walk through the front door, which is why he comes strolling in through one of the side doors, possibly one that Eric knows connects to an empty room. It's a little flash, but a good entrance is key to securing belief.

Well, that's certainly rather impressive. Eric isn't one for exaggerated expressions, but there is a very perceptible lifting of his brows.

"Indeed I did," he answers, bowing his head a little, as a sign of greeting and respect. "I hope you weren't in the middle of anything?"

"Nothing that can't wait," he says before checking out Fangtasia and sidling up to the bar. "Now, what can I do for you?"

And, by extension, what can Eric do for Hermes?

Ah, straight to business. Eric likes Hermes better and better.

"When we last spoke, you said you hold sway over trade and commerce," he begins, in a measured way.

"I would like very much to make this bar successful. In my world, Fangtasia is something of a hotspot. I would like it to regain that status here in Taxon. I would like to do whatever is necessary for you to aid me in that endeavor."

In other words, name your price, most excellent deity.

"Oh, and can I offer you a drink?" He adds, with a gesture at the great abundance of alcohol behind him.
