"N-no. I mean, I don't think so. I haven't seen it yet." She doesn't immediately place the voice, though it sounds a bit familiar; she did, after all, hear his announcement about the bombs.
Here, Tara, have a guy with a zipper on his head looking befuddled at you.
"I have a regular alarm clock that sublimates brass," Glitch informed her, as if this were a rather hum-drum occurance. "Wh-what kind of special properties are we talking about?"
He blinked. "Huh. That sounds nice and ominous, doesn't it. But I I I don't know if mine is it, since it's just a regular clock with no radio attached or- wait, you read about it? Where?"
Oh, he was going to have to track down Judith, wasn't he?
"A clock radio with special properties?" DG echoed, reaching over to switch on her tablet. In other circumstances, she would have been merely curious, but, given the nature of Taxon, she was a little worried as well. Things in this city were rarely as they seemed. "What sort of special properties? Do you need any help?"
"I... I don't know. I found a bus ticket in my room this morning that teleports you to the beach. There was a notebook there, and it mentioned the clock radio. I was hoping someone had some idea what it was."
Mysterious object with special properties, fuck my entire fucking life--hi, I'm Judith, I follow Glitch around when he's on the comm network, uh. So. Can I get some details on all of this, or do you want to meet up, or what?"

Judith comes into view only after she finishes hastily applying some foundation, eyeliner, and mascara--her eyeliner is slightly crooked, but she decided she could live with that. She's usually more particular about her appearance, but lately she just hasn't had the energy.
"What do you know? Like--really, everything, if I'm being honest this is the first really new thing I've heard about in...forever. And you can ask me whatever, I'll try to answer as much as I can."

"Um... not very much, I'm afraid." Tara tucks some hair behind her ear. "This bus ticket appeared in my room this morning. It... when you touch it, it takes you to one particular spot on the beach. It's not magic, though. Or not like I understand magic, anyway."

"In a journal - a little notebook. It was on the beach."

One day, perhaps, the city would lose it's power to surprise her. At the moment, however, strange occurrences continued to unsettle DG.
"What else was in the notebook? Did it mention anything else?"
Something that might, perhaps, help them to work out who the author was.

A few minutes later, here Piper is, knocking gently on Tara's door.
"Tara? It's me."
