"Good morning, Taxon." Crisp British diction and smooth French enunciation and it must be the Countess of Gatas, sober in dark, deep blue and holding a china teacup in both hands as she sits down at her husband's desk, dwarfed by the masculine surroundings designed for a man much, much larger than she is but soothed by the authority of it

"Oh, dungeons," Angelus says with an air of fond recollection. "I remember them well. All dark and dank and full of things that go bump in the night. Gotta love 'em. Don't think he will, though. Pity you're keeping him all holed up. He was making such the ruckus."

With a withering look heavenward, Petra cuts her transmission with Angelus. Even her patience has a limit.

Morgana is still in bed, in yet another strange nightdress (it's really a hospital gown, one of the rare dignified ones, but it's far too revealing for Morgana's tastes, so she's quite covered with her blankets), and takes a while to consider her reaction to the Countess's message.
"Countess, I am in no position to participate in any," she avoids the word political, "organizational matters, but could I trouble you for a small favour?"

"Oh my dear - Master Wayne told me of your bravery, I am so unspeakably proud of you - of course, Lady Morgana, you are never a trouble to me. What is it you need?"

It takes her a few seconds to compose herself. "At the end, things were very hectic," she's leaving out details. "Tempers were very high." She's not speaking as articulately as she would like. "When I first awoke, I was certain the Doctor would be dead."
Getting flustered has completely ruined the very orderly, clear request she intended to make.

Due to Petra's position in this, she's been thoroughly informed of those details by Bruce Wayne and Leila Yilmaz thus far- enough to have a very, very good understanding of what went on. She doesn't press Morgana to be more detailed, therefore, because they both know and it's unnecessary.
"He spoke quite well of you," she assures her briefly, of Master Wayne, before raising her eyebrows. "But as for the Doctor, I doubt you're the only one who had such a thought. Of course that's not how it's going to be handled so long as he's under my responsibility."
And she has no intention of giving him up to anyone until she's certain he will be treated fairly. If nothing else, a vengeance murder would be cold comfort when the madman responsible for so much hurt seems unable to parse why he's at fault.

This is like ...anything, by the way. Want him to grow you a field of unicorns? He'll get right on that, point him at the unicorn seeds.

"Stefan," she greets, pleased to hear from him (partly because she was going to send for him and this is faster) and- a little distracted, as is probably not surprising. "I do have a task for you- once I've acquired the Doctor's tablet," and handed it over to Leila or Bruce to be tampered with slightly, "I'll have need it returned to him. I think it'd be best if you took it down with you when relieving Master Doul."
